[Sonar] Looking for kid-size foulies

Hi, I hope this is an appropriate use for the fleet lists.

Does anybody have kid foul weather gear that they'd be willing to sell or hand down? My daughter is 7 but is probably sized more like a 10-year old.

Some of you who know I sell SLAM are probably thinking "shoemaker's kids..." SLAM makes great skiff gear for kids, but that seems like overkill for pram camp! I'm thinking trousers or bibs and a jacket or spray top, size 10-12, and maybe shoes or boots, size 4.

Please call me at 612-715-0054 if you've got something that you think would work! Thanks,

Heather Fraser

Subject: Call for lifejackets for Bob Slocum Family Regatta and Picnic

Hi Club members,

We are hearing that lifejackets are a barrier for kids and novice sailors who may wish to attend the WYC Bob Slocum Family Regatta and Picnic next Saturday, June 15 at WYC.

I've placed a green bin in the clubhouse next to the water dispenser. If you have spare lifejackets in sizes for kids and young adults, please bring them.

Please make sure to mark your name & phone number on the lifejackets in permanent marker to prevent confusion. Thanks in advance for helping WYC assure a safe ride to all comers!

(And by the way, if your spare lifejackets are on board your boat, why not swing by WYC next Saturday June 15 at 10 a.m. and enjoy this fun event with us? ;^)

More information about the Bob Slocum Memorial Family Fun Regatta and Picnic can be found here in the current weathermark:
