It's SPRING.  The lake is clear of ice.  That means that it's time for the Training Sessions (aka the Bert & Ernie Show).  Not only that, they start well before the sailing season.

We need people to help with the door.  This is particularly important on the first Tuesday, April 29 and first Saturday, May 3.  That is when we are selling tickets packs and have the most people lined up.  Once they have their tickets (if they bring them) they are pretty much walk-in.

It's the usual deal - help at the door and you get in free.  Please let me know if you are available to help.

The schedule is like this

Windward Legs, Reaches, Runs & Roundings

May 6

Open door at 6:15 PM

Starts & Review

May 13

Open door at 6:15 PM

Sail Shape & Trim - Terry Foster & Gordy Bowers


Saturday On-the-Water Seminar dates are

Open door at 7:45 AM

Roundings & Luffing

May 10

Open door at 7:45 AM

The Andrew Kerr Seminar - it will include starts in the morning and go all day and have a Sunday morning session also

May 17

Spinnakers & Graduation Cup


We need to have boats out for Saturdays.  With the late ice-out there probably won't be many for the first session so make an extra effort.  This is a great chance to get crew and to introduce new people to the Wonderful Wayzata Yacht Club.
