Hi Howard,

Sorry for my slow response.

So we are all systems go in sending a team to Chicago for the High School Keelboat national championship qualifiers.  These kids have been training on a J22 and are doing a great job.  The event is being sailed in Sonars so we would like to get them all the Sonar knowledge and experience we can before the event.  The event is October 3/4.  I think in the perfect world one or more of your fleet members would volunteer to spend some time with our kids showing them the boat and explaining any unique Sonar details, sharing any Sonar tips/tricks etc.  And Ideally even sailing a little bit.  I believe our kids are available Saturday the 26th, and next Sunday the 27th.  Ideally they could come out all three days but we'll take whatever we can get.

I coach high school sailing out on the St. Croix.  We have a keelboat team from Stillwater High School that is going to compete in the High School Keelboat National Championship qualifier in Chicago the first weekend of October.  These kids are pretty talented and should be competitive in that event.  Our school has J22s so that is what they train on.  I'm wondering if any of your Sonar sailors would be willing to introduce these kids to a Sonar, possibly share tricks and tips, and possibly even let them get a little time on the water in a Sonar?
