[Sonar] Last Thursday on Lake Pepin: a reminder

Hi all:

Those of us out last Thursday had a little taste of heavier air which it
seems has been a pretty rare commodity this season.

While there was certainly some damage, which is awful, I'm thankful to hear
that all of us were safe.

However at the same time on the Lake Pepin race night, a sailor was lost
overboard and not recovered and presumed drowned (at latest news)

He was NOT wearing a PFD.

Lake Pepin is similar to Minnetonka in that the water at this time of year
is warm, and the distance to shore is approximately the same. We can be
lulled into a false sense of security.

As the fleet captain this year, I just want to reemphasize to everyone
that PFDs are vitally important. Just because we have warm water and are
relatively close to shore should not be a source of complacency.

Let's stay safe out there!
