All:

Note that (I've been told) that a Sonar can sail as PHRF in this event if
they are doublehanded.

All the social distancing rules still apply and we would pick up a pink
streamer at the dock when we depart (keep your streamer for future races)

Lots of options!

Good evening friends.

Racing (modified competition) for Course 2 fleets (J70, Capri 25, Ensign,
PHRF, and MORC) starts TOMORROW. Course 1 fleets raced last Monday and had
a great time. Tomorrow is your chance. Here are a few polite reminders.

Waiver. All sailors must sign the waiver before coming to WYC. Click here
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdRFzkOkHmLy5u6p4dhHsvWgbmJ1qStgzMOUj9wqAC6NCLkvw/viewform?usp=sf_link>

Crew List. All skippers must submit a crew list before sailing tomorrow. Click
here
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfiZIxU-av7c8GjqTRhwDnLTFSm4jHfOqX4hyU_rj9CmQkz4Q/viewform?usp=sf_link>

Check-in. All sailors must check in each day using one of the QR codes at
the club or online in advance. Click here
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeYMD92WQWykdZFcAwY09YI8u6-917CDlc8L9NtYGSGPWm8ZQ/viewform?usp=sf_link>

Crew size limits. Please remember, crew size is limited. Check the new
NOR/SI

Face coverings. All sailors MUST have a face covering while at WYC. You
must wear that face covering as you encounter members on the docks and/or
at the club. Regardless of your views on efficacy.

6-feet distance. In order to mitigate the risk of transmission, everyone
should remain 6-feet apart from people not in your household. If you are
closer, wear your face covering.

Do not arrive before 1630 (4.30pm). Since gathering at the club is not yet
permitted, please do not arrive before 1630. Go directly to your boat, and
rig on the way to the race course.

Double handed. To maintain greater distance on your boat, you may choose to
sail double handed. It is great skills development that teaches you how
other parts of the boat work! Collect your streamer from the entry to your
dock, and fly It from your backstay. Those sailing Double handed will
start together as the last start. I’ve had a few questions about this. So
I’ll try to clarify. On the day your fleet is scheduled, you can either
race DH or fully crewed with your fleet. On the day your fleet is not
scheduled, you can still race in the DH division. So, you can sail twice a
week if you want to.

Member expectations. This pandemic has changed every aspect of our lives.
WYC is no exception. We're all now required to follow a set of expectations
laid out here <https://www.wyc.org/restartracing>, in order to maintain the
wellbeing of others.

Full details of the restart racing, including the required COVID
Preparedness Plan, are shown here https://www.wyc.org/restartracing .

Thanks and see you (6-feet apart) on the water!

Andy
