<P>Congratulations to Bruce Kirby on the selection of his Sonar design for the
Hall of Fame.</P>
<P>Along with the F-27 trimaran, the Sonar will be inducted into the Hall of
Fame on the evening of Thursday, January 29, at the Strictly Sail show in
Chicago.</P>
<P>The selection committee included Bill Schanen of Sailing magazine, John
Burnham of Sailing World magazine and Charles Mason of Sail magazine and the
board of directors of Sail America.</P>
<P>This is the second design of Bruce's to be so honored. The ubiquitous Laser
was previously inducted.</P>
