Most of us will fly in March 23 (Friday morning) to Houston, TX (HOU) and return March 26 (Monday morning – leaving Sunday late evening is also a typical option).<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif"'>We currently have 2 spots available (10 team member spots already filled), first-come, first-serve. If you have ever wanted an opportunity to sail on a Sonar, get an early jump on the racing season, want to learn about Team Racing (no previous experience required), or would like to meet friendly WYC sailors, this is a great opportunity. The TCYC provides us with nice boats (owned by their fleet members) and sails.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif"'>The Entry Fee is <b>$105/person</b> (presuming all 12 spots are filled). This includes trophies, boat usage, breakfast, lunch, and Saturday dinner. You are responsible for your travel (one person is traveling via car so there is a spot available for a passenger if that is desired). Housing is generously provided by the TCYC (usually there is a cleaning cost… these are typically yacht club member residences). They do have a cash bar onsite for great post-race reviewing with competitors and RC members.
