I always close mine underway unless we<br>are taking on water. I did not have any visible zebras. The rudder<br>post is high enough that it should not be an issue either (I think--I<br>hope).<br><br>The few times I forgot to open my bailers at the bouy we got enough<br>rain that the boat almost sank. Ha ha.<br><br>They sure don't seem to like the painted surfaces.<br><br>I am not too worried about the boat yet.
