In the 90s he left the business and sold the molds to Skip Shumway who we deal with now.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p><p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#555555'>Wally passed away on August 23. Among his other exploits, Wally wrote the book “Sail Power” which at the time of its publication was the definitive text on technical sailing. He also started Hard Sails (Every sailor needs a Hard on). <o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#555555'>I met him in Noroton in the early 80s.
