BLAKE MIDDLETON MS WALK
As you may have heard, our beloved P.R.O. (Presiding Race Officer) Blake
Middleton was recently diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis). He's
responding to medication and doing well with minimal impact to his daily
routine.

As a rule I avoid this type of stuff in the e-weathermark, but I'm making an
exception today. Blake is walking in an MS Walk in three day on Sunday May
2nd. If you'd like to sponsor his walk, you may do so at
http://www.nationalmssociety.org/pledge/. Enter "Blake Middleton" in the
search criteria and you will find a page discussing Blake's thoughts on his
MS and have an opportunity to sponsor Blake online.

You can also e-mail Blake at myc at aol.com and he will send you a "form
letter" that discuss' his MS and talks more about his motivation to do the
MS Walk. It's this weekend, so act now if you're interested.

JOHN KOSS
A "get well soon" photo-frame matting for club members to sign is at the
clubhouse through Monday. It's located near the computer. Further details
about John's injuries are available on the Capri 25 homepage at
http://www.wyc.org/Capri25/

COOL REGATTA SPONSORSHIP
Absolute Vodka, Evergreen Jewelers, and Great River Real Estate have teamed
up to sponsor a great Cool Icebreaker Regatta this weekend. The top three
teams will win Citizen watches (way to go Liz!!!) and there is a general
raffle that ANYONE can participate in for a super cool $500 Citizen watch.
Just swing by and buy a raffle ticket. http://www.wyc.org/j22/cool.htm

WYC DAY AT WEST MARINE
This Saturday from 9-5 WYC sailors receive 10% off everything in the
store(5% electronics) at the Ridgedale West Marine. This is in addition to
any other sale prices or coupons. I'm assuming they have stocked up on
VC-17...

DUES DUE
Membership dues and mooring fees are all due. If you still have outstanding
payments, please clear this up before you put your boat in the water. Past
due boats will not be scored until they are paid up!

MATCH RACE MONDAYS
More information about the new match racing program has been posted on the
