FIRST AID AND RESCUE FOR INLAND LAKE SAILORS
You can gybe the chute in 30knots of wind but can you do something really
useful, like save a crew member's life?

The WYC and the MWST are offering a new class this winter that will teach
you basic First Aid as taught by Peter Narrows, a professional paramedic and
active sailor. This is a full day, hands on, First Aid seminar that has been
specifically designed to meet the needs of inland lake sailors who regularly
sail 30 minutes away from immediate assistance. It will provide you with a
wealth of knowledge in medical first aid and basic boat rescue techniques.

Three Dates: January 31st, February 7th, or 8th. Space is limited,

TENTATIVE 2004 SCHEDULE
Just in case you were planning to do some sailing this summer, you might

MOORING DEPOSITS
January 10th is the due date for your mooring deposit to hold your slip for
2004. Don't get left on the hard this summer, get your money in. A 2%
discount on your entire mooring is also available if you pay the entire
amount up front. Don't make us come looking for you...


BOAT SHOW VOLUNTEERS
Want to attend the Mpls boat show, but too cheep to pay the admission fee?
Consider working your way through by contacting steve bren at 612-701-3230 to
reserve a four hour slot when you can staff the booth. FYI: this works best
