WAYZATA SAILING SCHOOL
The new Wayzata Sailing School is open for business and now taking
registration. Cappy Capper and Brent Ostbye are on board and are preparing
our facilities for summer classes. If you are reading this e-mail, you are
one of the core group of sailors that we hope can help spread the word to
non-sailing families and encourage them to expose their kids to sailing.
Classes are expected fill quickly so act now. View classes and request a

TSUNAMI BENEFIT
The WYC PHRF fleet is making an effort to raise funds for a local relief
group working to replace fishing boats in the Tsunami effected areas of
Indonesia. Only $500 buys a boat and helps a family to once again be self
sustaining. There will be a story in this week's printed Weathermark with
additional information and there's already several web links on the
www.WYC.org homepage. We're planning to have a phone tree by fleet, if
you're interested in volunteering to call your fleet members, please contact
Bob Bye at bobobye at hotmail.com or 952-474-0350. The deadline for this is the
end of next week, so act now. Black Bear YC has already bought two boats,
let's try and do better. St. Croix and Duluth YC's are also working to raise
funds.


KEY WEST RESULTS
Congratulations to Denny Manrique (Tanja couldn't attend) on his first place
finish in Division 8 at Key West Race Week with his S27.9 Island Time.
Banshee also attended and lost three way tie-breaker to finish fourth. In
the super competitive Mumm 30 fleet Jonathan McDonagh and Champosa finished
