ADA REGATTA
The ADA Regatta is now officially on the horizon. Time to start lining up
your crew and getting ready for June 14th and 15th for the one true club
wide regatta we host each year.

First, you should register for the regatta ahead of time. It saves you some
money and it helps with planning. If you raise over $500 in donations,
you're registration is FREE, and we know sailors like FREE.

Second, we're making donations much easier this year. If you plan to raise
funds for the ADA we will add your boat to the boat sponsorship page on the
website. All you and your crew will need to do is send an e-mail to your
friends and family directing them to go online and make a donation. You
don't need to collect any money, it's all automatic. To get a donation
button setup for your team, just contact dallas at dallasjohnson.net or
andy.spence-parsons at comcast.net and we'll get you set up.

WINE ON WAYZATA BAY
Tickets for the Friday Night, June 13th Regatta Wine Tasting are now
available online. This is a great opportunity to bring your non-sailing
friends to the club for a hob-nob social event and show them what a cool
place it is. And this just in...the Man Law Special Council has designated
this event for triple kitchen pass points if you bring your spouse. Yes,
that's a big deal. It's even bigger when you remember we'll have 150 wines,
food from Wayzata restaurants, music, special silent auction items, and wine
tasting cruises.

So pick up your tickets before this event sells out. Your $35 ticket is a
tax deductible donation.

ADVANCE CREW TRAINING
If you think you know more about sailing than Terry "Da Bear" Foster, you
just might be right. But you won't be able to prove it unless you attend the
Advance Crew Training seminars in June. This is the seminar that gives you
the skills to actually earn that beer the skipper brings you, maybe you'll
even learn enough to earn a team hat or a shirt from of the RBO. And if you
try hard, maybe you'll learn enough to get the skipper to stop yelling at
you. So stop acting like you know how to sail as well as you know how to tip
back free beer and plan to attend.
June 3 - Bow Position - June 10 - Trimmer - Time: 6:00-8:30 pm
Member Cost: $10 per session
Non-member Cost: $15 per session
No pre-registration required.

APOSTLE ISLANDS RACEWEEK
The best summer regatta in the world, and it's right here (well...a bit
north of here). There's even a cruising class this year.

CREW MEMBERSHIPS
This Thursday night is the deadline to become a crew member and have your
name in the log book. While you can pay your crew dues later, you can't get
your name in the log book after the fact. (note: if you'd attended Advance
Crew Training last year you would have already known this).

See you on Thursday!
