MOORING DEADLINE
There's a 3% increase in club mooring rates starting tomorrow, so if you haven't made your $500 down payment please do it today. The remainder of your mooring fee will be due February 28th. If you didn't receive an online credit card payment link today, please contact manager at wyc.org to request a new link, or just make sure an envelope with a check gets postmarked 12-31-09. 

Membership dues are later in the winter. You're good for now. 


SANDERS ACKERBERG
Fair winds to Sanders Ackerberg and condolences to his family as Sanders passed away December 17th. Sanders was a former Vice Commodore of WYC, and was instrumental in the purchase of our first narrow strip of land (the turn-around area eastward to the culvert which allowed for A dock). These were the early days of our club and these bold actions are what help to cement the future of our club.  We will forever sail in his wake.

WINTER SEMINARS
Beth Frampton has organized another fantastic winter seminar program this year. These are the perfect excuses to catch up with friends, get a start on new crew/rides for 2010, or maybe to learn something new for a change. Seminars start at 6:30 and include a pizza/beverage happy hour before things get rolling. 

Look for: 
- Team Racing-Jan 
- Gordo-Feb
- Truax-March
 and 
- DaBear-April this year. 

You can pay online, or better yet get the Season Pass by paying online and saving big bucks. 

Making a special appearances this winter will be a full day Saturday North U Seminar in February, and a special America's Cup Winter party with a date to be announced just as soon as those deadbeats Larry and Ernesto give me a ring with the date.

Unclaimed trophies and trophy frames from the banquet are at the clubhouse. Please pick them up before someone else does.
