COMMODORE'S COMMENTS
OK everyone, it's June. Summer is here and it's time to get in gear. Lot's of stuff in this Weathermark issues, so read fast.


ADA REGATTA
The ADA Folks will be at WYC the next two Thursday nights to....


1) Accept Your Silent Auction donations and drop-offs. Stop by the kiosk and pledge or bring something in for the auction. Every boat at WYC has something they can contribute. It's easy, to do, be a part of the solution!


2) Accept registration for the ADA Regatta. Get your boat registered and at least make an attempt at raising some donations. The Regatta is June 12-13


3) Sell some Friday night (June 11) wine tasting tickets before they sell out from www.WineOnWayzataBay.com. This is thee event to invite your friends, families, and neighbors to.


NEW SIGN AT WYC
Thanks to Rock Star Dan Hollinger for getting the bulletin board all fixed up and fancy at the club. He used his superhuman home remodeling skills to good use in this project. The place is starting to look fancy now so please break out your blue blazers. Warning - Shameless Promotion: talk to Dan if you need some remodeling work done.


WCSC OPEN HOUSE
Whoa, Friday June 4th from 5-7 they will have the WCSC Open House. Free sailboat rides for anyone, face painting, BBQ. Come check out what's happening at the WCSC and learn how you can get involved on Lake Minnetonka.

SAILOR OF THE WEEK
Cappy Capper cranked it to 11 last week by being named to the ICSA Hall of Fame and making US Sailing Sailor of the Week.

DON'T KILL THE FLOWERS
It's only June and I'm already getting complaints about people walking on the flowers. Please don't do that,  as Belinda  "Barnie" Barnes volunteers to do much of the gardening and if she catches you stepping on the flowers she will hurt you. 


MEMBERS ONLY
If you're planning to race at WYC more than six times this season you are required by the sailing instructions to be a member, even if you're only rail-meat. But it's only $95, so lighten up. Deadline to get in the 2010 log book is this weekend.
