NIGHT CRAWLER<BR>The much neglected Night Crawlers are coming back!
Craiggae Smith has taken up the torch and will be organizing (we use this term
loosely) a Night Crawler on Friday August 19th. The NOR's are simple, meet
at WYC around 6pm, BYOB and bring something to grill on the patio. Starting
after dinner or around sunset everyone takes off for a sail around Big
Island. Last boat to return to the club wins. Anyone who knows Craiggae
knows he's the most qualified person for this job. See you there!!</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial>CHAMPIONSHIP OF CHAMPIONS</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial>If you missed this last year, you missed one of the best
events of the year. We've selected representatives from each WYC fleet to race
at MYC in 420's against the best of MYC. All you need to do is motor
that sailboat of yours over to MYC Island at 6:00pm on Wednsday August
24th. Watch the races which are absolutely hilarious. And then have dinner on
MYC Island (small cost for that, but no rsvp) while the awards take place.
Seriously, this is the best spectating of the year. Be there! I

<DIV><FONT face=Arial>Speaking of MYC, the Burton Cup is August 27th.
Windward-leeward courses are for wussies. The Burton Cup is for real sailors,
and it's the oldest, coolest race on the lake. So learn how to
barber-haul your jib, put the vang on, move the spin pole all the way
to the forestay and get out there. You could even RSVP for the MYC

<DIV><FONT face=Arial>CAPRI C DOCK PARTY<BR>It's the best party of the year, and
it's happening August 28th after the Sunday racing. So don't make any late
afternoon tee times for golf. You're going to be on C-Dock with 500 of your best
friends consuming free food and drinks from 30 different Capri's. The
weather is always perfect for this event and someone always ends up doing
something worth gossiping about. </FONT></DIV>
