(this Tuesday)<BR>Tuesday August 26, 6:00pm at WYC<BR>Can you say you've done a
MOB drill, have you tried a WOB drill? Any competent skipper should answer
yes. This is basic stuff, but it's something everyone at our club should know
cold. Seminar includes beer and pizza happy hour from 6:00-6:30. Come, have a
good time, earn your MOB badge. <BR></FONT><A

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>CHAMPIONSHIP OF CHAMPIONS<BR>Tonight - 6:00pm at
MYC<BR>Winds are looking great, sun is shining, temps are warm. Put the
putt putt on the boat and motor over the MYC to watch the racing and have
a great dinner ($12 adults) on MYC Island after the racing. Given
today's weather conditions this event has been upgraded to triple kitchen
pass date points if you make it a date night.<BR><BR></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>BURTON CUP - MS CUP<BR>This is annual reminder to
stay out of the way of MYC boats starting before the WYC start of the Burton
Cup. If Wayzata Bay is the first mark, it can get crowded at Spirit Point, so
mind your course. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Bert and Carmella are planning to sell a selection
of espresso, latte, cappuccino, and black coffee before the race to help
people wake up. The Joe is free, but you are "encouraged" to make a donation to
Blake's MS Cup. I suspect Bert will also offer wind and rules advice for a
proper donation. Look for them on the WYC patio. <BR></FONT><A

REGATTA<BR>Congratulations to Capri 25 Persistence for their apparent victory in
the Leech Lake Regatta. Online results are wacked, but I have it on good
authority Steve did good. Great regatta, make an effort to go there next year...
