This did not work as intended - I got a request to moderate the post after crawadore accepted as a member.

Changing 

Default action to take when a member posts to the list

from Default processing to  Accept immediately (bypass other rules)

to sandbox-owner

Your authorization is required for a mailing list subscription request
approval:

    For:  crawladore@gmail.com
    List: sandbox@lists.wyc.org

5. Owner found a subscription request "Pending approval" (no confirmation email required) and "Accepted."

6. Crawladore sent this test message - to confirm crawladore can post and to document process and results.
