This coming March, Southern Yacht Club will be hosting the Morgan Stanley
J22 Midwinter Championship on March 18-21. While COVID is on our mind, we
will endeavor to make this event as safe as possible for all competitors and
friends. Due to the unpredictability of the local regulations, it is our
intention to publish a social schedule when we get closer to the event. We
also are planning a virtual skippers meeting and will have specific
guidelines on COVID safeguards as we get closer to the event. We do expect

By now you should have received your 2021 Class dues statement. If you have
not already paid your membership dues, please do so. Your dues go toward
preserving the integrity of the Class, our Rules, our website, our events,
and maintaining the value of your boat. As a Class, we see several
interested parties that are inquiring about purchasing a boat and our forum
is a great source of boats to purchase. For those who are active in your
local fleets, please reach out to any idle boats and convince them to
re-join the Class or to sell their boat to a prospective new member. Our
strength as a Class lies in a strong and active membership. Renew at
