In addition to what JR and Bert have said, I also enjoy being on the same team as two other boats. That is a wonderful unique experience to come up with a playbook with sailors that previously were the competition. You get to play nice as well as "mean" for a change. :)

I just want to echo Bert's comments.....
It would be fantastic to see the whole fleet involved in the event.
For boat owners you don't necessarily need to skipper or even take your boat out ... come crew!!!
Crew if you normal skipper not taking your boat out sign up anyway.
If for some reason you are mailing your entry Thursday send a quick email off to Bert so that we make sure you are included!
A Few Comments About Our Team Racing Regatta;
1) Its exciting!!! and Yaaa it can be a little uncomfortable as the goals are a little different from fleet racing. That's what makes it exciting... its 3 on 3 not 1 against all .....
2) Sailing is a about continually learning. Team Racing will accelerate what you learn about Tactics, Boat Handling, Rules, Teamwork .... trust me Team Racing will make you a better sailor!
If you are is sitting on the fence give me a call I will help you over ....

Hi All,
The NOR and Registration form is on line at http://wyc.org/sonar/TeamRacing/2010WYCTeamRacingInvitational/tabid/1227/Default.aspx .
Sonar Owners
If you have your crew set for the regatta, register the boat and include who they are and a check for $150. If you have a Sonar, but can not sail the regatta, give it to your crew.
Crew
If your Skipper doesn't team race, but you want to give it a try, sign up as a lone crew without a crew position. We will put you on a boat. We are going to favor Sonar Sailors who sign up by Thursday. Then we are going to open it up to other fleets to supply crew. Go to the link, print the Registration form, complete it and mail it to me with a check for $50 (includes meals, adult beverages, etc) or bring it to the Club This Thursday.
I would like to have all the Sonar Fleet #5 who want to sail in this regatta registered by Thursday. Then we can determine what else we need to do to have 2-3-4 teams.
Regards,
Bert
