CAPTAIN HOOK HANGING IN
All of Captain Hook's hard work comes down to the winner take all Paralympic
Trials currently happening this week in Newport RI. This marathon regatta is
six days long and Bert is hanging in second as of last night. First place
races and second is the alternate for the Paralympic team heading to China
in '08. The US Sailing website is a complete failure but you can follow the
daily action at...

WYC TROPHY PHOTOS
Select a photo for your trophy frame, check out the season crash shots
(including the recent U-Gotta), send picture links to friends, or order
additional prints and trophy frames. It's all at
http://www.dallasjohnson.net/WYC.htm
RETURN YOUR TROPHIES
It's not much of an Awards Banquet without the hardware. So bring in your
cleaned or polished trophies to the clubhouse where they can be staged for
the banquet. Please leave them with all the other trophies.
WSF AUCTION ITEMS NEEDED
It's that time of year again. This is perhaps the easiest way for you to
contribute, just about everyone has something they can donate as an auction
item. Contact Mary Foster to make a donation. 952-474-1638
Mary at thefosters.org (note: Mary, put me down for the same donation as last
year...dj)
BANQUET VOLUNTEERS
The few, the brave...banquet set-up volunteers are an elite core of party
animals dedicated to bringing social activities to the greater population of
sailors. If you think you have what it takes to hang burgees, sort
glassware, align trophies, and show up on time, then drop Steve Bren a line
and get your name on the list. 612-701-330 or manager at wyc.org
SHAKELTON CUP NOR

lead, you need to sail backwards for a while.
Tie Breakers: The determining factor will be the number of times the boat
made it all the way to Maynards for lunch.
P.R.O.: For questions, please call Valerie Petit @ 952-212-1823
