[Capri25] Water in the bilge

Hello all,
I recently bought a Capri 25 and have noticed that there always seems to be 
water under the ice chest area and in the sump.  I am looking for suggestions on 
how to get the water out.  I've thought of cutting a hole in the ice chest area 
to allow pumping and there is already a smallish hole in the sump.  Any and all 
ideas welcomed.  Thanks.  John Todd
