[Capri25] Leech Lake regatta

 Hi all WYC sailors,

LLR48 is August 9-12, 2019

Three race segments; Saturday August 10, Sunday August 11, Monday August 12.



Sailing, campfires, music, camaraderie; join us! Boats race in two fleets; mono-hulls and multi-hulls. Within each fleet are divisions. When possible with at least 5 boats single hull type divisions are created.

Registration fee, until July 15, is $100. July 16-July 31, fee is $125. August 1-9 fee is $135. The regatta fee includes participation in the three day race and two tickets to the Awards Banquet. Additional tickets to the Awards Banquet, as well as tickets to the Sunday evening BBQ, are for sale online and at race packet pickup.





 

The  annual Leech Lake Regatta is located at the Shores of Leech Lake Marina YachtClub near Walker, MN just 3.5 hrs north of the cities.  Big warm water racing with sandy lake bottoms,raft up parties, campfires, live music, camaraderie; join us!  Sailboats race 3 days in two fleets;mono-hulls and multi-hulls. Within each fleet are PHRF divisions with severalWYC boats again to be there this year including myself with Cyclone.
 There is free ramp at the marina, a crane forlaunching larger boats and cabins and camping available.  Lodging at Hotel and motels available in Walker MN.All LLR participants are to register  their boats online with the LLR website and make slip arrangements with Shores of Leech Lake Marina.
