[J22-Fleet 1] Champion of Champions - Tomorrow Evening

Mike Bowers from J22 # 963 will be representing J22 Fleet # 1 at the MYC/WYC
'Champion of Champions' event tomorrow.  Is your evening open ? Make plans
to hit the water and spectate for what should be an entertaining evening.

Hi Everyone,

Come out Wednesday evening to watch the Champion of Champions race at 6:00
and then stop by LHI for a wonderful Grill and Chill.


The Champion of Champions race is where we invite the winning championship
skipper from each fleet to race in 420's, provided by LMSS.  The skipper
gets to have the crew of their choice.  WYC is still putting together a few
of their  teams.  Here is the list, as it stands right now, as to who will
be racing and who will be representing which fleets:

I will be out in my little boat, passing out the racing roster, to all the
spectator boats.  The roster will include boat numbers, so that you can
easily figure out who is racing with who and in what boat.  It is a ton of
fun to watch!

 

Afterwards, Connie and friends will be serving a delicious dinner on LHI:

 

.  Grilled Marinated Leg of Lamb with Rosemary, Lemon and Garlic 

.  Grilled Chicken with Pesto Seasoning 

.  Parslied Red Potatoes 

.  Salad of Mixed Greens topped with best of the Farmer's Market 

.  Carrots with a Citrus Butter Glaze 

.  Chocolate Chip Cookies with Ice Cream 

.  Beer, Lemonade, Ice Tea and (a bit of modest wine will be available with
dinner) 

 

If you decide to bring wine, a Shiraz, Cabernet, Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio
will pair will with her menu.

 

So come on out and watch some great racing and then have a wonderful dinner.
