[J22-Fleet 1] Waterline

Just a couple more notes on fairing -- in the absence of templates --

       1. If you wish to shape to be at minimum thickness -- the
templates that the Fleet has will help you determine how far to take
it down to get to minimum.

       2. Place ten marks equally spaced, across the top of the keel,
near the chord and ten equally spaced near the bottom, along the
chord of the keel.

       3. Use a straight edge, vertically between the top and bottom
marks at each location.

       4. Sand and fill until all lines are straight.

       5. Use your imagination on the radius shape on the leading
edge. Some will say it should be full, others will say skinny.

       Cheers,
       Pat K
