**CONFIRMED - COOL CUP IS ON FOR THIS WEEKEND !**

 

Dave Cool Icebreaker Regatta, April 26 - April 27/2008


J/22 Fleet #1, Lake Minnetonka, MN


 

The 2008 sailing season is less than a week away and I was very encouraged
to see so many J22s @ WYC.  The lineup in the west lot looks great.  And I
am happy to report that the ice is finally out, and we can go racing !  

 

Hopefully your plans and preparations for the Cool Icebreaker
<http://www.wyc.org/j22/cool.htm>  are going well and I am confident we will
have another good turnout for the first regatta of the season.  NOR is

Entry forms will be available at registration @ WYC.  

 

We have some great sponsors on board again this year. Iniki.com
<http://www.iniki.com/>  provides regatta gear and will be around displaying
SLAM's best stuff.  John Klick has stepped up once again and we will have
some great new Fleet # 1 gear available.  And Absolut Vodka will once again
be on board as our entertainment sponsor.  Thank you to these companies for
sponsoring our fleet.  And please be sure to keep these fine establishments
in mind when you are out shopping for sailing gear and supplies.

Sunday 4/27

09:30 Warning Signal - First Race 

~13:00 Cocktails, Appetizers and Awars after racing
