Hey folks, 

 

This is a very different event from wyc Thursdays. The racing is very casual
and it's very family oriented. Bring your spouse and kids of any age. The
start line is next to Lighthouse Island regardless of wind direction. A
superb dinner afterwards. 

 

First gun is at 6:15. 

 

Visiting J22's had a great time last year. 

 

I probably will be taking pictures rather than racing, and will tow boats
home if possible.

To all,

It is a tradition at MYC that each fleet host at least one of the Wednesday
night Chill 'n Grill's.  This week it is hosted by the J22 fleet (my family,
crew and friends).  Come out and race on an uncrowded course, start and
finish the race at the same place and then easily cruise into the MYC
Lighthouse island and join us for our Wednesday night grill.  The menu for
the night includes:  New potato & Green Bean Salad, Garden salad with Grapes
and Feta Cheese, Honey Mustard glazed chicken breasts, Orange glazed pork
tenderloin with Italian seasoning and for desert, made from scratch,
Chocolate Mousse.  Beer and lemonade is provided at no charge by Board.

The meal is $12 person plus tax and there are kids meals of hot dogs, chips
and a toy, available for $ 5 .  As this is typically a club event with meals
being charged to member accounts, our staff does not carry a lot of change.
If you can remember, please try and bring correct change.  Last year most
people were kind enough to just bring $13 and not worry about the change -
Thank-you.

Hope you can come.  We have had two weeks in a row with good racing, the
forecast is for a nice day tomorrow.
