See the below request from the class association looking to charter boats
for the J/22 Worlds <https://www.annapolisyc.com/racing/2018j22worlds> . Of
course, if you're planning on compeiting in the J/22 Worlds, that's
excellent. This is prior to and does not conflict with the dates for the
Mallory Cup.

Also, as a reminder, this is a good time to renew
<http://www.regattanetwork.com/membermgmt/J22/membership_registration_start.
php> your J/22 Class Association <http://www.j22.com/> dues. If you
haven't renewed or are not a member, here
<http://www.regattanetwork.com/membermgmt/J22/membership_registration_start.
php> 's a link to do it now. The association works hard to support our class
and events.

Subject: Charter boats needed for 2018 J22 World Championship

Happy New Year,

Hoping you can help spread the word among your local fleet for anyone who
may not be sailing the 2018 J22 World Championship on September 8-14 in
Annapolis, MD to consider chartering their boat for the event. We have
significant interest from foreign and domestic teams and not enough boats to
meet the demand. This is a great way to support the Class and get some
return on your investment.

For anyone who has not done this before, the typical practice is for teams
chartering boats to provide their own sails and insurance. Teams will also
often want to put some time into making sure the boat is in top shape, so it
can be a great way to get your boat up to date.

If you or someone you know has a boat that could be made available for
chartering, please get in touch with Brad Julian at bradley.julian at gmail.com
<mailto:bradley.julian at gmail.com> . To get things started, please send an
e-mail with the following information:
1. Name
2. Phone Number
3. E-mail Address
4. Hull/Sail number
5. Year Built
6. Description of the general condition of the boat and any
issues/deficiencies to be aware of
7. Location of the boat
8. General charter terms (i.e. asking daily/weekly rate, in-kind trade such
as keeping set of new sails after the event or completing some major repairs
in return for use of the boat, etc.)

Thanks,
Brad Julian
