Hi Everyone,

I hope you all had a great time at last weekends U-Gotta-Regatta.
The wind & weather gods were in our favor with great wind and warm temps for
the regatta. What perfect sailing conditions for the regatta

I just would like to thank all who helped make the weekend a great success.
Without all of the volunteers we couldn’t have pulled it off.

Thank you to everyone who helped !!!

Scott Brigham was in charge of feeding you and the awards. He had a whole
entourage of helpers for all of the various chores that go along with all of
this. Jerry Krebsbach, & the Usual Suspects, Randy Gould & the TDB gang,
plus a whole bunch more behind the scenes helpers that I didn’t see. They
did such a great job; it all just went so smoothly you would think it
happened all by itself. {& of course Jennifer who had to put up with Scott
for the last month or so dealing with all of this She actually does all of
the real work. While Scott spaz’s out}

Mike Miller who ran our registration booth and kindly keeps all of our
weights in secrecy and has them all locked up or better yet in the Shred It
bin for destruction. Mike had a whole slue of helpers Trish from Hellfire,
Holly from Kryptonite, CC who was sailing with Rush this weekend, Randy
Johnson, Jeff Hames, Mike Childs,

Chad Olness who put the sailing instructions together and organized the race
committee, along with the protest committee. Plus pays all the bills and
keeps our fleet treasuries in order all season long.

Jeff Hames from the Print Shop, did the artwork printed and mailed out our
notice of regatta, they looked great. Look him up at wwwtpsmn.com for all of
your printing needs.

The Danger team {your friendly janitors} did an awesome job of keeping your
porcelain shiny white all weekend, and the rest of the club spotless as
well.

When it came to the raffle some of you went way overboard with your
generosity, Jerry Krebsbasch went way beyond the call of duty donating
almost half of the raffle items most of which came out of his own pocket.
John Benzian donated the incredible Bushnell Telescope. That must have set
him back several hundred bucks. Scott Brigham donated the handheld VHF and
other items that came out of his checkbook. Steve Bren, Chris Holmes, Rolph
Turnquist, Chad Olness, Mike Miller, Team One Newport, Quantum Sails, Z
Sails, eFuzzies, and many others also helped make the raffle a big success.

My darling wife Ann who made all of the box lunches on Friday night {sorry
we discovered at 11:00 Fri. night the mayo packets we had were expired, no
where to get new ones so hopefully your sammy wasn’t to dry.[we debated on
serving the old mayo packets, to give the Gotcha team an edge, He He Ha ha
just kidding] But we did have extra meat so it was bigger than usual. } She
also had to put up with me for the last few months and well deserves a medal
for that.

I hope that I didn’t forget to many of you that helped out this past
weekend, If I did forget to mention your name it’s just that I’m a putz and
not that we don’t appreciate your help.{I’m old now and I can barely
remember my own name anymore much less what I did yesterday}

Once again Thank you for all of your help we couldn’t have done it without
you.

W/ Love,

J/24 Fleet #1
