Hi Everyone.



It’s time for the last big event of the season. Unfortunately there will be
no Lake Geneva regatta this year. The great news is it just moved a little
North to Lake Minnetonka this year. The Wayzata J/24 fleet is inviting you
to come and sail with us on Oct. 1 & 2 for some Great Racing.

Top 10 reasons to come to Wayzata

  1.. we aren’t that far from civilization –Only about 4 hrs from Geneva
  2.. With 18 home boats on the starting line it promises to have a great
turnout and competition for everyone.
  3.. Great parties and food, and lots of free beer
  4.. There’s always great wind in October
  5.. It’s not really that cold up here. { what  ever it is doing in Geneva
on Sat. is what it did in Mpls on Friday} We sail until the end of Oct. up
here. The last couple of years there have been back to back laser regattas
college and High school in the middle of Oct. and nobody froze to death.
  6.. Lots of great lodging close to WYC. [even some free places to crash,
at some of the nice folks up here’s homes for you and your crew}
  7.. We have a new on site crane for launching your boat at Wayzata Yacht
Club
  8.. Sunsets will now be re-named Chucks
  9.. Awsome trophy’s and prizes
  10.. And best of all--- YOU DON’T HAVE TO BUY GAS FOR THE
SAILBOAT!!!!!!!!!!!!
