[J24 ListSrv] U-Gotta Stories

The U-Gotta Regatta this year was outstanding!  Many of you have stories to tell about broaches, broken hardware (007), tactics that paid off and those that didn't, exciting mark roundings or close finishes.  Many were told at the after parties by you or to you.  We'd like to get those stories from you (crew or skippers) via e-mail or even by phone if you prefer.  We'll be taking excerpts from each for an article to use on the next J/24 NAs e-newsletter.  We want sailors that are thinking about coming out to race with us for the NAs to see how exceptional racing on Lake Minnetonka can be.  I'm sure Steve Bren would like the finished recap for the next WaterMark too.  Don't worry about spelling or sentence structure, etc.. -- just jot your thoughts down and send them to me.  I'm still trying to figure out what keel I saw from the boat that was broaching next to Rush (who was also broaching).  I couldn't believe there weren't bodies in the water.  Don't wait -- do it while it's fresh.  Just jot down the story or two that you told your co-worker this morning and e-mail it to me -- phone number is below, if you prefer.
