J24 Easter Regatta a World Qualifier

The 2013 J24 Easter Regatta hosted by Columbia Sailing Club has been awarded
a qualifying berth to the 2014 J24 World Championship in Newport Rhode
Island. The top finishing USJCA member not previously qualified will earn a
qualifying berth to for the 2014 J24 World Championship in Newport, Rhode
Island.

This event will be the second event in 2013 where a qualifying spot is
offered and a perfect chance to get your spot for a great US World
Championship where over 30 spots will be offered to US boats that haven't
already qualified.   

Many top skippers currently competing in J24 events are already qualified
including; John Mollicone, Tim Healy, Will Welles, and Mike Ingham.  With
over 25+ qualifying regattas to be held in 2013 many boats will have a
chance to represent their club, region and home town in which should be an
epic event in Newport.
