[J24 ListSrv] Please welcome Terre Heiser, Deb Heiser and Gary Mattson to Fleet #1.

I would like to strongly recommend the membership of Terre & Deb Heiser and Gary Mattson to J/24 Fleet #1.  Last night at the New Crew Social, they became the new owners of VooDoo, USA5136.  I have seldom seen such enthusiasm for jumping into a new program as I have seen in these folks; downright giddy.  As Jane put it, we have had the opportunity to spread the love of sailing to people that are truly excited about getting involved in the sport.  These folks are going to be good for the fleet.  

We are so excited for them!

That all being said, I want to thank all our crews and all those in the fleet who supported us over the years.  They say the day you buy and sell your boat is the happiest… I have to tell you that it is so far from the truth.  We have had so many good memories with that program and so many successes.  VooDoo is where our, my, sailing program came to life.  Before VooDoo, I always wanted to have a competitive team and through the years on 5136 we had a great group that made all that happen … to our crew, our team from over the last 10 years, we thank you so much:

JaneE, Mike Miller, Roy, Matt, Jenn, Paul, Mike Shane, Jay Cornea, Dave, Steve, Eric Stadsvold, Bill, Aussie John, John Pearson, Val, Aaron, Matt Resch, Kim, Kris, Hans, Sean, Greg, Erik Pederson, Dane, Robin, Judy, Jake, Chad, Mark, J.R, Jason, Chad, Kristen, Gustavo (G-Man!) and so many others … you are the best!

We will miss J/24 Fleet 1 and wish the best for your growth and success.  We believe we left you and VooDoo in good hands.  Again, thank you for letting us get involved in growing the fleet.
