[J70] WYC COVID Adjustments

Many of you will be aware of changes to the COVID restrictions announced by the Governor last week. The BOD approved the following immediate adjustments.

Face coverings remain recommended when within six feet of others outdoors; however, they are no longer required. Face coverings remain required when indoors.

The patio will now also be available on Thursdays for you to enjoy your own post race beverages. Todd will set out the remaining tables and chairs this week.

The social gathering limit for indoors is increased to a maximum of 50 people. In the event of inclement weather, sailors should not exceed this capacity by gathering indoors. Please wait in your vehicle.

You do not need to scan the QR code, or fill in the form, to pre-register to race or to use the patio or club building.

The crew-looking-for-a-ride table is available for members who have paid their membership dues for this season. If you have not yet paid your dues, please do so here WYC.org/membership before using the table. As a polite reminder, the club is still here this season because of members who paid their dues last year.

The NOR/SIs, website, and COVID prep plans will be updated as time allows. We anticipate further adjustments after 5/28 including; the return of food and refreshments after racing on Thursdays, ability of members to rent the club, and promotion of crew-looking-for-a-ride table outside our existing membership.
