Y'know that moment when you see the Race Officer's hand on the flag, and you know something is about to change? Well, it kinda feels we're at that point. 

We've been in postponement for a while, waiting for the situation to change. We greatly appreciate your patience. During that time, the Board of Directors and Race Committee has been working diligently to develop a protocol to allow a limited return to racing, while being compliant with the Executive Orders, DNR guidelines, and plain common sense.  

We anticipate announcing a modified format and schedule starting on Sunday June 14th, subject to change.  The precise details and timing are still being finalized as the DNR guidelines evolve. Elements are likely to include; staggered starts over a longer period to eliminate gathering at the club, reduced crew size to facilitate social distancing on boats, and modified courses to keep boats apart.   Stay tuned for details over the next few days. 

In the meantime, about 60-boats have already launched.  The docks are open for households, and crews with appropriate social distancing, to launch, make ready, and enjoy the lake.  Please review the launch plan here <https://www.wyc.org/page/show/5757146-compliant-launch-plan>.
