[Morc] WYC Race this Saturday

WYC is pleased to announce the PRO's Distance Race for the Challenge Cup this Saturday.  This extra event for all fleets was recently added to the schedule. Boats will start on the Main Lake.  First warning at 1000. There will be three starts, using the same order developed for the Double/Single series.
PHRF Rating over 179, including J22, and Ensign
PHRF Rating 173-179, including Capri 25, and Sonar
PHRF Rating under 173, including J24, J70, and S2 7.9

Starts will be separated by FIVE minutes, so reset your watches.

The course will be a open course (mid-distance) featuring various locations that will be announced by VHF on Saturday morning.

The finish will be in Wayzata Bay, with provision to shorten course if needed. There is a five hour time limit, although the forecast looks great for a faster ride.

Boats will be racing for the Challenge Cup. There will be one winner based on their lowest corrected time. Additionally, boats will be scored within their fleets for bragging rights.

Gather up your crew, and head to the lake this weekend.
