[Morc] WYC Awards Celebration Planning - Make your voice heard

The WYC board of directors is carefully considering the most appropriate way to celebrate the successes of this season. The BOD would like to know which of the following three options you would participate in. 
 
Option 1. Awards Cocktail Reception
- Saturday November 13th. 6.30pm to 9.30pm. Doubletree Hotel, SLP
- Annual meeting via ZOOM on the Thursday 11th
- Cocktails + heavy appetizers – no sit down meal
- Ticket $40-50/head
- Short program: special awards, parking space auction, and handoff to the new Commodore.
- Collect photos and glassware from hotel - registered attendees only
- Capacity capped at 150 heads
- No band/dancing
- ZOOM stream of awards and general ambiance for those unable to attend
- Proof of vaccine or negative test within 72 hours required for entry. Verified by hotel staff
- Masks strongly recommended for ALL attendees.
- Colored wristbands. Green – hug me. Yellow – fist bumps only. Red – don’t touch.
 
Option 2. Awards in November, via ZOOM
- November 13th 6.30-7.30pm
- Annual meeting 5.30-6.30 also via ZOOM
- Program: Welcome, Fleet videos, Special Awards
- Online auction for parking space
- Collect glasses and awards from the club before, or after the event
- Close
- Trivia game for an hour thereafter
 
Option 3. Spring Awards Banquet
- Late May/Early June 2022. 5.30pm to 11.30pm. Banquet venue with inside/outside spaces
- Spring meeting at the event
- Cocktails + Dinner (Buffet or sit down) with option for outside service.
- Ticket $55-65
- Program: special awards, parking space auction, fleet reviews, and handoff to the new Commodore.
- Band and dancing
- COVID protocols as needed at the time
- Colored wristbands. Green – hug me. Yellow – fist bumps only. Red – don’t touch.
