I talked to several of you last weekend, but here is the official announcement: We will have an exhibition race this Thursday, 9/22! The reason for this is simply because we missed a couple races due to lack of/too much wind, and well, basically, we just hate to see this season end so soon!

There is supposed to be some rain in the next day or so, but it LOOKS like it will clear up by thursday afternoon. And there will be some good wind! So it's happening. Here's how it will work:

> 3. The race countdown will START at 5:30. Set your timers for 6 minutes--we will have a Prep at 3 minutes, and then the GO at six! One start! I will determine the course, depending on conditions, and announce it before the race of course. I will call all this over the radio.

> OK! Sound fun?!?!? It will be! I still have a fair amount of beer from the last PHRF social, and I will bring that for after the race, but feel free to bring beverages to contribute. (the kegs will likely be off, and a lack of post-race alcohol would make us very grumpy....)
