How many people have you actually spoken to?  I take real issue with you speaking on behalf of both fleets and I'm not sure why most PHRF II members would go to you with their complaints.

Guys,
Wow. This new plan for the Fall Regatta is MASSIVELY unpopular with the PHRF fleets. With no real regatta to call our own, most looked at the two day event (with our fleet hosting the party) as our regatta, and effectively cutting it in half has been described as a slap in the face by several members. To double the pain, most PHRF 2 member felt the format of the Challenge race was unfair to PHRF boats, non-spin in particular.

I feel bad because Keven and I discussed this over the winter, and talked about a workable solution. I communicated that potential plan to the fleet members who asked, who are now hearing differently.

I'd suggest a re-think if thats possible.

Rudy, this IS a huge juggling exercise!   Soliciting the input and accommodating the desires for regular racing of all our fleets, scheduling the Mallory Cup,
Women’s Regatta and the still-new Fleet Challenge Cup this season is a labor of love and just plain labor for Kevin, Terry and Blake
Right now, we’re looking at the Fleet Challenge Cup as a Saturday event and the Fall regatta as a Sunday event.   We think this satisfies the most members.
 Of course, we hope members will find both appealing!

HI Guys,



Nice job on the new schedule. It must have been quite the juggling exercise to fit everything in. 




Just a quick question on the Fleet Challenge Cup on Sat. 22.  Is the winner decided on that Saturday after 2 races and trophy presented? 



Is the Fall regatta happening on Sunday?  Or are the 4 races somehow included for both events?  If so how will you score this? 



 It seemed to work well last year to have the Fleet Challenge as 3 races on one day.
