Hi Sonar Sailors,
UK will make all new sails.  I think the boat owners get them or get to buy
them at a very low price.  What do you all think about: 

*	making our boats available 
*	taking an active role in running this event 
*	putting teams together to practice and win this event

Bert,
It was a lovely wedding and party afterwards.  As per our brief conversation
on the topic of Sonars.  It is a general belief, including my own thinking,
that Sonars are a better platform for match racing.  At the moment I have
not heard of the results for recruiting J22s for the event and therefore
interested in how the Sonar fleet might be doing in their solicitation of
boats.  Keep in mind that the boats that will  be used are to be totally
insured, no owner sails will be used only new UKs and boats NEVER make
contact with each other.  So for the reason that Sonars are best platforms
and there is little risk of damage, wear and tear, can it maybe an all Sonar
event?
If you are having any upcoming Sonar events, I would gladly make myself
available to speak to the group on this matter.  Please let me know.
