Hi John,
Carmella and I are in town and looking forward to the party.

Team Captain Hook has some things that may interest the Fleet:
    * I would like to talk about 2 boat trial horse training for 5
days in May, June, and July when our Paralympic team comes to town to
train. We will have coaching. Different members of the fleet could
take part. They would have the benefit of our coaches, and they
would get better. The training would all be in Appendix B, no
spinnakers, jibs only, but with auto launch wisker pole rigged by Ernie.
    * Ernie could rig 3-6 of the Fleet #5 Sonars with wisker poles
for trial horse training and the fleet could consider sailing those 3
Thursday and 3 Sunday races with main and wisker pole (jib only)
against the Captain Hook Disabled Team. It might be a chance for the
top 3-6 boats in the Fleet to go with jib only and the lower 12-15
sail with spinnakers. Nice handicap system. John, JR, Marty, Ernie
(on Sesame Street), Captain Hook, and anybody else. Boats other than
these five might win these races. Good for them! These six races
could be a separate series (Our Team would give a nice trophy) or
the4 races could be included in the regular series.
    * With all the coaching we have had, I could give a little review
of some of the newer things we have learned.
    * I could bring a VHS or DVD from the video camera on-board
Captain Hook during some of our races/training including the races we
won at the Caviglia and OCR.

We have the Sonar mid-winters races on Kattack and maybe I could get
Kattack's Steve Palm or Tom Verburght to come to the party to
    * Show the midwinters on Kattack the projector
    * talk about the Sonars having Kattack for the 2007 sailing season.
What Say you?

Regards,

Bert Foster, Skipper
