I'll be sending an email out to the WYC Sonar fleet to inquire about a boat to use.   As you know,  that was done last year with one of the other Gimli crews. 



If you do use a boat from down here however,  you may want to still consider the option of you bringing your own sails.  That way you can be more sure of the condition.

Hi Tom, 



We are hoping to come to this year’s regatta.  We had a great time at last year’s event and we are very appreciative of the warm welcome and support we received.  These were both well beyond anything we expected. 



Merry-Beth has once again offered to billet us and we have taken her up on the offer. 



Before we head down, I wish to confirm that we are still welcome to participate in the Sonar fleet. 



If so, while we brought our boat last year, there were some boarder crossing issues that were a rather large hassle. Would there be any boats that we could borrow/rent for the weekend?  If so, we would like to do that and we would bring our own sails.  



If a boat is not available, I will get going on making arrangements so we can bring our boat down.
