[Sonar] New Sonar Fleet in Toronto

Hi All,
I talked extensively with Sarah and Jen.  They do more match racing 
than team racing, but are interested in doing more team racing.  I 
invited them to our SOTN, to bring their boats leave them here and 
team race the follow weekend.  The problem is that all the Sonars are 
all owned by the yacht club and the club is very particular who can 
used them and hasn't let a member trailer them away to a 
regatta.  They are going to work on that, but I suspect they won't 
bring the YC Sonars to the WYC.  Its also a very long trailer 
ride.  So, if we are going to have them, we will have to provide them 
boats.  The answer is to have the WYC or the WCSC buy 3 or 6 
Sonars.  Can anyone come up with a tax deductible $250,000 donation 
to buy 6 Sonars.  If we provide 3 of our personal Sonars to them for 
a our team race regatta, we might be invited to Toronto to a team 
race regatta in their YC boats.  I will continue to work on this.

I also talked to them about Sheboygan.  They have matched raced 
there, love it, and would love to come to our team race regatta there 
next year.
