I can't come out tomorrow because I'm putting Captain Hook together. Gene
Hinkel will be here to show us the latest, greatest DA stuff.

Tomorrow will be the second day of the Atlantic Coast Challenge which is
high school team racing. Some very prestigious east coast teams and top
Midwest teams will be there. You might do better to get a good place to
watch them do the moves. Also, Carl Ziegler, a top Noroton Sonar sailor is
coaching the Darien team. You might be able to get some tips from him if he
has time.

Hey Gang,

I've talked to a number of people already and we have a good number of
boats. More crew would be good since the wind is expected to be in the
teens Sunday morning.

I believe the following boat owner are in with their boats:
Tom Brown
Marty Fossen
Alan Green
Mark Kochendorfer
JR Rainaldi
John Sligh

I don't yet know who is bringing their crew or who needs more crew, we'll
figure it out at 10:00. We'll also establish the teams. From 10:30 til
perhaps 11:45 we'll run three or four short races, back to back, in the bay.
We'll then return to the docks for a short break and crew shuffle before
heading out for the normal afternoon fleet racing.

There will not be an official judge. I'll get an aerosol horn for a start
sequence. Boats will be on their honor about if they were OCS or not. The
windward mark and it's offset will be rounded to Starboard (this in
different from our normal). The leeward mark and offset will be rounded to
port. very short W 1 1/2. The leeward mark and offset will also be the
start line. The windward mark and offset will also be the finish line.

Bon voyage,
MF
