[Sonar] The sun is coming back. save some dates!

I hope all had a great Christmas.    May everyone have a great New Year!

I'm pegging some dates for upcoming Sonar social and educational events
during the time that our sun ever so slowly comes back to us.   (today it
certainly seems far away!)

Feb 24:  annual White Elephant party  (venue and more details to be
confirmed)

March 24:   'Survival on the race course':   a beginners look at what's
important for rules and how to survive out there in the mayhem.   This is
for everyone but especially geared to all of our new owners and crew.   I
hope also to have a panel of 2 or 3 Sonar long term skippers/tacticians to
answer questions.

April (sometime) :  a more in depth session with particular rules scenarios
with US Sailing judges Kevin Kenny and Bruce Martinson.    We may do a
SurveyMonkey with this one to generate the most popular questions ahead of
time so watch your email.
