[Sonar] Reminder of the Fleet Challenge Saturday!

Hi All,

The Fleet Challenge Cup and first day of the Fall Regatta is this Saturday Sept. 22.  The second annual Fleet Challenge races are an exciting new race event enjoyed by many boats last year for the first time. The premise of this unique event is to have all fleets in the club racing against each other via the PHRF rating system and determine a Champion Fleet .  Some small changes have been made from last year's format.This year there will be 2 races back to back instead of 3 races back to back.Also these 2 races are the same first two races of the Fall Regatta. The races will be scored for both the Fall Regatta  and then a separately scored for the Fleet Challenge Cup results.  Another change is there will be 4 smaller starts in each race (instead of two big starts as was done last year) for the two Saturday races only.  Please see the breakdown of the starting order on Sat. listed by your PHRF rating on page 10 of the WYC SI's which is also located in the website.  You can also look up your PHRF rating in the 'Scratch Sheet' link also located on the WYC website under the 'Results'  page.Keep in mind all ratings for one design Fleets have already been established as of last year. Also please read all the rules and eligibility for the event listed on page 10 of the SI's.The Fleet  Challenge Cup trophy and top finishing boat prize's will be awarded shortly after the race on shore during the provided lunch!Remember the more boats you have race from your fleet the better chance you have of winning Fleet champion.
