Ahoy Sailors,

Just a fast note to reconfirm that planning and preparations are in full steam for Lowisa 55. Running Aug 1st -8th on beautiful Lake of the Woods, this is definitely going to be another can't-miss Regatta.

This year's festivities will begin and end at Northern Harbour, so many thanks once again to the wonderful Hall family for allowing us to do so.

Layover day will be at the beautiful Sunset Lodge on Oak Island and will include all the classic Lowisa activities to fill your rest day.

A few of the things we have in store:

-Sailing seminar hosted by North Sail's own Drew Mitchell. View footage of your own vessel on the race course while Drew offers tips to make you go faster.
-A full slate of Kids activities on the front field/beach
-Stand Up Paddleboard races
-Team Canada vs. Team USA football (in prime time)
-Live Band at the Resort
-Cribbage tournament
-Lowisa Idol talent show
-Silent auction with amazing prizes and so much more...

Don't forget the seven days of fantastic racing and legendary wilderness parties that Lowisa has consistently delivered for 55 years and counting!

For those wanting to rent a room at Sunset for the Layover please contact Samantha at 1 (218) 223-8211 reserve your room. (limited quantities remaining!!!)

We are well on our way to reaching this year's ultimate goal of '55+' entries, stay tuned for details on early registration and merchandise. For those interested in attending for the first time (or first time in a while), we have a special surprise in store. More to come on this.

Please consider joining us for all (or part) of this year's festivities. It is a phenomenal week on the lake (for both cruisers and racers alike) and a great way to spend the dog days of summer.

Any ?'s or inquiries please reach out via email to me and I'll address asap,

Hoping to see you at the Sailors social on Saturday Aug 1.
