the Gucci 8:00am slot for the second year in a row, most other times are
still open...for now. Time slots fill fast so run over to the club ASAP.

CLUB CLEAN-UP DAY
Saturday April 26th is club clean-up day. Bring a rake, shovel, or your
favorite power tool to the clubhouse around 8:00am and check in with Bren
to see what needs work. Lunch will be provided if you work hard enough! Call
Bren with questions at 612-701-3230.

BOAT LIFT APPROVAL
A monumental moment in WYC history occurred on Tuesday night when the
Wayzata City Council unanimously approved our installation plans for a
permanent boat lift located on the west lot. Yes, you've read this right,
it's been approved, it's going to happen. See Yappa, I told you so! A future
print Weathermark will provide the details and proper thanks for the people
who helped make this happen.

LMSS RACING SUCCESS'
At the recent Ohio State Buckeye Regatta, both the UofM and the newly
organized St. Thomas sailing teams won their respective divisions against
some very tough competition. Congratulations to all our local college
racers! Learn more about the LMSS at
http://www.lakeminnetonkasailingschool.org/

CONGRATULATIONS FRED SOMMER
Fred Sommer has been appointed a Judge by the U.S. Sailing Judges Committee.
With Fred's certification the Lake Minnetonka area now has 3 US Sailing
Judges-- Bert Foster (Senior Judge), Bruce Martinson and Fred.
Congratulations to Fred Summer on his recent certification as a US Sailing
Certified Judge. Now if you get busted in the protest room, there just
might be some jail time involved!

That's all the news that's fit to print, see you at the MWST Garage Sale!
