SESQUICENTENNIAL YOUTH REGATTA
Skip out of work RIGHT NOW - fake illness, go see a "client", take a long
lunch"; whatever it takes - and head down to Wayzata Bay to watch the kids
racing in today's youth regatta. Racing starts at 10:00 and 1:00 after
lunch. Thanks to the WYC Sailing Team and the LMSS for organizing this
event. Admission is free! Bring a horn and act silly, kids love that stuff.


NOTICE OF SCHEDULE CHANGES FROM THE RC
The following changes are made to the race schedule for Women's Races:
- 31-July Saturday Women's Cup Buoy Race 10:00 am Wayzata Bay  (It is
requested that boats be made available after the race to give sailboat rides
to the public for Wayzata's 150th year celebration)
- 7-August Saturday Women's Bay Series Races #1, #2, #3 10:00 am Wayzata Bay
- 14-August Saturday Women's Bay Series Races #4, #5, #6 10:00 am Wayzata

ADA REGATTA WRAP-UP
What a great event. We had typical wind (no racing Saturday and light), but
on the positive side we had well over 30k in donations toward Diabetes
research and education. This year personal donations from boats was up 300%,
congratulations. And no, it's not too late to start getting commitments for

C DOCK PARTY
The end of the C Series Party has been rescheduled to immediately after the
C-1 race because it's too cold by the time the C-6 rolls around. New date is
August 15th. Write it in your day planner right now.


MATCH MONDAYS - RICHARDSON CUP
Match racing is going great on Monday nights at WYC. Also, planning is
underway for the Richardson Cup qualifier September 11-12. watch
