ADA REGATTA
This weekend is the ADA regatta. We have a near perfect weather forecast
online with warm weather and wind. There's two races Saturday and two on
Sunday with breakfast munchies provided by Great River Real Estate (thanks
Cheryl). Impressive traveling trophies and great keeper trophies. Even if
you've wimped out on gathering donations - it's still not to late - your
entry fee also goes toward Diabetes research and prevention.

There's also a great party/dinner/silent auction on Saturday night. Even if
you don't race, you can "win the party"
by bidding at the silent auction and enjoying a nice Lloyds BBQ (thanks
Scott) dinner for only a $10 donation per plate.

STOP, THIEF!
Well, this happens every so often, and it's now time for our annual reminder
to keep your valuable watches, rings, wallets, smelling sailing boots, and
purses out of your cars on races days. This is especially true for cars in
the remote east lot. Sometimes people take things that do not belong to
them.


WAYZATA 150 YEAR CELEBRATION
The Women's Buoy Cup next Saturday will celebrate the 150th anniversary of
Wayzata. Look for this race to be an extra big deal. So line up your crew
now and get your boat out on the line. The city of Wayzata will also be
doing some stuff on that same day; visit http://www.wayzata.org for details.


BAYFIELD VOTING
We're doing a great job of messing with the web site voting at
http://www.sailmagazine.com/features/BPS/ for the best sailing areas. Do
your part to vote for Bayfield by a landslide. Remember, your vote only
counts if you win.
